WINTER has been certified to the following Certification Programs

TÜV SÜD certification

TUV SUD is a global testing, inspection, and certification company that offers a wide range of services to various industries, including the refrigeration industry. TUV SUD provides certification services for refrigeration systems to ensure that they comply with relevant standards and regulations.

TUV SUD’s certification services for refrigeration systems may include testing and certification of components such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators, as well as the entire system. This certification process involves testing for performance, efficiency, safety, and environmental impact.

TÜV NORD certification

TUV NORD is another global testing, inspection, and certification company that provides services to various industries, including the refrigeration industry. TUV NORD offers certification services for refrigeration systems to ensure that they meet relevant standards and regulations.

U-Stamp certification

The U stamp certification is a designation provided by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to manufacturers of pressure vessels. This certification indicates that the manufacturer has demonstrated compliance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1, which is a standard for the design, manufacture, and inspection of pressure vessels.

R-Stamp certification

The R Stamp certification is another designation provided by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to companies that perform repairs and alterations on pressure vessels. The certification indicates that the company has demonstrated compliance with the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC), which is a standard for the repair, alteration, and reconstruction of pressure vessels.

NB Mark

The NB Mark is a certification mark provided by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to indicate compliance with the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) for pressure vessels and boilers.

The NB Mark is not a replacement for other regulatory marks or certification requirements, but rather an additional indication that the vessel or boiler has been manufactured, inspected, and tested in accordance with NBIC.

CE certification

The CE mark is a certification mark that indicates that a product meets the safety, health, and environmental protection requirements of the European Union (EU). It is a mandatory mark for certain products that are sold in the EU, including refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

Industrial refrigeration industry certifications are important for several reasons:

  1. Safety: Industrial refrigeration systems can be complex and potentially dangerous if not designed, installed, operated, and maintained properly.
  2. Compliance: Industrial refrigeration systems are subject to numerous regulations and standards, including those related to safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
  3. Quality: Industrial refrigeration systems are critical to the operation of many businesses, including food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and data center cooling.
  4. Professionalism: Certification programs, such as those offered by NATE, demonstrate a commitment to professionalism and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technology and best practices. This can enhance the credibility and reputation of individuals and companies in the industrial refrigeration industry.
  5. Career development: Certification programs can provide opportunities for career advancement and increased earning potential by demonstrating competence and expertise in the industrial refrigeration industry.
